What is this website?
This is a membership portal for active members of the San Francisco Pride Band. You can manage your membership status, pay dues (if applicable), download sheet music, and access other Band information in one centralized place!
How do I register to become an active member?
To have access to the SF Pride Band Membership Portal, you need to be an active member of either our concert band or marching & pep bands. To become an active member, you need to register for the appropriate concert set at this link: http://members.sfprideband.org/register/
If you would like to be a member of the marching & pep bands only (e.g. do not plan to ever attend concert band), click on “Click here to register for Marching & Pep Bands Only (1 year)“.
If you’d like to be a member of the concert band, click the membership that describes the set you want to participate in. Each concert set has a separate membership registration and will be labeled with the months of which the membership applies. If you’re registered for concert band, you can participate in marching & pep band at no additional cost.
How long does membership last?
If you would like to be a member of the marching & pep bands only (e.g. do not plan to ever attend concert band), your dues cover membership for 1 year.
Our concert band has four memberships per year typically covering five concert performances. Each concert band set that you register for has a pre-determined active period starting from the first rehearsal of the set. The end date extends about three weeks into the following concert set so you have time to decide to register for the next set if not already pre-registered. The exact dates are shown in your Subscriptions tab of My Account or after clicking on the set on the registration page.
Can I register for multiple sets at once?
For concert band, yes! SF Pride Band intends to make multiple concert band sets available up to a year in advance so members can register and pre-pay if desired. You will still need to register for each individually by accessing the registration page, but you can have multiple active memberships on your account in advance if desired.
Participation (optional) in the marching & pep bands is included at no cost if you are an active member of the concert band. If you only want to be part of the marching & pep bands, you should only register for the one-year membership to that group alone. You will need to re-register once your membership expires.
How do I tell if I’m an active member or not?
You can check your membership status under Subscriptions on My Account or by visiting this link: http://members.sfprideband.org/account/?action=subscriptions
See screenshot below – this member is registered for “Winter (Jan-Mar) 2021 Virtual Concert Band” for $50. The “Active” column indicates “Yes”. The “Subscription” column indicates when the membership for the set expires.

How do I get on the email listserv?
Once you’ve registered as a member, one of our staff will automatically add you to the SF Pride Band Active Members Google Group within 24 hours. This Google Group uses an email listerv (members@sflgfb.org) to communicate with active members. Emails will arrive in your inbox with “[SF Pride Band Members]” at the beginning of each subject line.
Tell me about membership waivers.
If this is your first set with the SF Pride Band, your dues are waived! You should have received a coupon code when you were provided the link to register. If not, please send us a message to request it before registering.
Dues are $75/quarter for Concert Band ($300/year) and $75/year for Marching & Pep Bands or Twirling/Flags Corps only. Dues waivers are available and sent via email to the Band list-serv before each set. Please contact technology@sflgfb.org if you can’t find that communication and need a reminder about the coupon codes.
To use a membership waiver, select the membership you want to register for on the registration page. Fill out the registration form. At the bottom of the page above the payment options, select “Have a coupon?”.

A “Coupon Code” field should show up where you can enter the coupon. If your waiver covers 100% of fees, ignore the payment options and click “Sign Up” and you should be good to go. Otherwise, the waiver will deduct the savings and you can continue to reduced payment. If you have any issues getting a waiver to work, please contact technology@sflgfb.org and we’ll be happy to help.

What if I want to take a set off?
No problem! You’ll still be able to log in to My Account and update your profile information and view past payments. You can also see the list of sets you can register for on the registration page. However, until you register as an active member on an active set, you won’t have access to the rest of the website.
